On Friday we celebrated Diversity Day. First we prepared for the day making flags and headbands in the colours of our countries. Then we joined the whole school for a parade. It was like being at the opening of the Olympic Games!
After the parade we had a shared meal - well is was more like a feast really and we got to try lots of different food.
It was a great day and we all had a lot of fun.

ReplyDeleteA5 thinks we should all write a persuasive piece of writing to persuade Mr Gilbert and Mrs Compston to have another Diversity Day. I wonder how many reasons we could give them to convince them.
