Calendar Art

We made Samoan patterns for our calendars. Then we used pastels - we tried to use colours that went together. Then we dyed carefully around our work. In the middle we put our mihi over a faint picture of ourselves. Here we are hard at work. Look at the concentration! Thanks to Jakobe and Evile for putting the slideshow together.

Experiments

As part of our study of trees we wondered how the water gets from the roots to the top of the tree. These experiments show how water moves up the stalk to the top of plants.
